Alku Lab – Visual Identity & Branding

For Alku Lab, an art association focused on experimentation, knowledge-sharing, and cultural exploration, I developed a branding concept inspired by the periodic table of elements. This modular system reflects the lab’s mission: to combine diverse artistic and intellectual components, like elements, into new, meaningful forms.

The identity uses a grid-based structure that echoes scientific classification, while remaining playful and visually flexible. Each program or project within Alku Lab is represented by a color, enabling an intuitive visual language for both digital and physical applications. The brain motif and the modular "A" element highlight the lab’s fusion of creativity and research, science and art.

The result is a branding system that feels open, dynamic, and intellectually curious, just like Alku Lab itself.
