Globe Art Point – Visual Materials
In 2016, I designed a postcard and event poster for Globe Art Point, an artist association in Helsinki that supports and promotes artists of diverse backgrounds in Finland’s cultural field.

For the postcard, I wanted to create something that would stand out among typical flyers often seen in the art and culture scene. I designed it to be displayed in various ways, using the continuity of the brand’s magenta-colored “GAP” letters as a visual anchor. To keep production costs low while ensuring vibrant results, I combined magenta with the other standard print colors for a bold, eye-catching effect.

The image on the card features an indexed-style illustration representing the Helsinki coastline, playing with the idea of point as an island, symbolizing Globe Art Point as a bright cultural hub, a kind of artistic island in the midst of a wider, quieter ocean.

This project is part of a broader body of freelance work I’ve done in the art and culture sector in Finland.
