TAiteiden Yö 2024 – Rovaniemi
This graphic design project was created for Taiteiden Yö 2024 in Rovaniemi, with the aim of engaging younger audiences and bringing the energy of a large-scale festival to a smaller cultural setting. Inspired by the minimalism of Korean design and the vibrant visual culture of my hometown Barcelona, I developed a playful, modular identity. The design can be built in blocks, some of which are designed to be altered analogically—encouraging interaction and creativity in both digital and physical spaces.

This project came together during a very short time frame—less than a month before launch, just after I had moved to Rovaniemi and was still getting to know the local culture. Despite the tight deadline, I wanted to do a design that felt fresh, approachable, and easy to navigate for festival-goers.
Inspired by South Korean designers I’ve been following, I leaned into a clean and coded visual language to make the event’s structure intuitive and playful. I developed a set of small creature icons to represent each festival category, paired with a color-coded system for clarity and identity. The final concept came together as a digital scrapbook—simple yet expressive, with elements that invite interaction and exploration.
