Sivuvalo – Brand Redesign
This was a short internship project in 2017, supported by TE-toimisto, aimed at helping me practice Finnish in a real work environment. I worked on a redesign for Sivuvalo, a Helsinki-based literature association that advocates for the recognition of writers living in Finland who were not born there as part of Finnish literature.

The concept centered around the meaning of sivuvalo—which translates to "side light"—and I explored this through two visual interpretations: the beam of a reflector and the turning pages of a book. I developed a refreshed visual identity, a series of collaborative-style illustrations, and ideas for printed merchandise that reflect the inclusive and forward-thinking nature of the organization.
